Overview
The Powering Communities Program is an initiative to help community organisations reduce their energy costs.

Grants of between $5,000 and $12,000 are available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations to reduce their energy costs.

The program aims to save energy and reduce power bills through:
  • upgrading equipment to reduce energy consumption
  • undertaking energy management activities and assessments, such as energy systems assessments and feasibility studies
  • investing in energy monitoring and management systems
  • investing in on-site renewable energy and solar-connected batteries.
Each electorate has total funding pool of $67,700.

Further information can be found at https://business.gov.au/grants-and-programs/powering-communities-program.

Your group must primarily operate in the Dobell electorate.
