Archaeology 2030 initiative. We are interested in understanding how teachers use, or could use, local archaeology in their teaching. Your feedback will help shape future resources, training, and opportunities to support schools.
Who Should Complete This SurveyThis questionnaire is for teachers in primary and post-primary schools, including special education settings. You don’t need to have taught archaeology before, we’re interested in all perspectives.
How We Will Use Your Responses Your answers will be kept confidential and anonymous. No identifiable information will be collected.
There are a number of free text boxes within the survey. Please do not include any personal information that could identify yourself or another individual. The results will be viewed and analysed by the Archaeology 2030: Outreach and Engagement Working Group to improve how archaeology is supported in schools.

Council for British Archaeology (CBA) are collecting the survey responses, and their

TerminologyArchaeology – the study of past human life through material remains such as artefacts, monuments, and sites.
Archaeological monument – a place or structure that shows evidence of past human activity and helps us understand history or prehistory. This can include: underground remains; tombs; stone circles; forts; castles; churches; ruins; industrial structures and sites such as mills or mines; and shipwrecks or wartime defences.
