Mt. Airy Medical Dispensary

Residents of Mt. Airy, Share Your Opinions

As you are probably aware, the State of Pennsylvania has legalized the use of marijuana to treat certain health conditions.  As a result, medical marijuana can be sold through dedicated retail dispensaries. These private businesses are regulated by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and must adhere to specific requirements in order to operate.

A medical marijuana dispensary is similar to a pharmacy.  A prescription from a doctor or other health care professional is required to make a purchase, and the sale can be paid for by cash or credit card. The product is not available in any form that can be smoked and the product cannot be used on the premises.
