Please complete the full Centurions application here, in addition to the following questions specific to the Alumni Legacy Scholarship. Please note that your scholarship application is considered incomplete without the completion of the Centurions program application. Application Timeline:

The Centurions Legacy Scholarship application and the full Centurions application are both due Saturday, June 1, 2024. Applicants will be notified by Friday, June 7, 2024 regarding your Legacy Scholarship application status. The full Centurions application closes June 1, 2024.

Legacy Scholarship Eligibility:
  • This scholarship was founded with the intention of dismantling structural racism by providing a Black, Indigenous, or Person of Color access and opportunity in the business community.
  • Work for an organization or company that is a Chamber member, or is willing to become a Chamber member as a part of the scholarship (membership fee included in award) The scholarship will cover KC Chamber membership dues, up to $700, for an employer that is not currently a chamber member for both years. Any amount over $700 will need to be paid by the scholarship recipient or their company, if applicable.
  • Preferred: A demonstrated personal commitment to addressing disparities in a marginalized community

Being selected as the scholarship recipient doesn't guarantee acceptance into the Centurions Leadership Program. Scholarship recipients must also participate in the full Centurions selection process through completing the full Centurions application, as well as the selection interview. Scholarship applicants will be notified of their status by Friday, June 7, 2024.
