Background Survey

Welcome to our online course on online course design. We have designed this survey to help us get to know you a bit better so we can tailor the course content and activities to better meet the needs and expectations of students in this particular cohort. We also want to take advantage of the expertise you bring to the course, so groups will be created to work together on assignments in some units and your answers will help to ensure a diversity of experience within each group. We need to ask your name to create the groups, but please be assured that your answers will not be shared except in summary form and your answers will not be used to evaluate you in any way. Text answers will not be shared. Once a majority of students have answered the questions we will make a summary of the answers available so you get to know the "shape" of your cohort.
