Is your IHSS paycheck delayed? Tell us about it.

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS) says IHSS providers should receive our paychecks within 10 working days of the date it is received by the Timesheet Processing Facility. Unfortunately, we know that does not always happen. Paycheck delays are all too common and harmful to caregivers and our families.

We deserve a payroll system that works, which is why UDW caregivers urged the state to implement an electronic timesheet option and won an audit of the current payroll system in 2016. To help advocate for and fix the paper timesheet system, UDW is gathering stories from IHSS providers who have dealt with paycheck delays.

By completing the survey below, you are helping UDW improve the IHSS payroll system. Keep in mind, completing the survey will not help you get your check. Click here to contact your local UDW office for help.
