Introduction

The AIM Higher Consortium of Southwest Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia is funded by the Department of Defense – Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA) and was launched to provide support to the regional Defense Supply Chain.  The defense manufacturers in the region play a critical role in national security and make a significant contribution to the regional economy.  The AIM Higher Self Assessment is designed as a first step for you (the manufacturer) and the Consortium to identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefit.  After completing the Self Assessment, you will be contacted by a Consortium member for a deep dive discussion and subsequent “match-making” to available capabilities and resources such as:

-          Addition to Regional Supplier Capabilities database (coming soon)

-          Access to expert technical assistance

-          Mini-grant program for technology implementation

-          Workforce initiatives and training

The consortium is excited to connect with your company and find ways to strengthen and grow your business in the defense sector!  Please reach out to mminner@catalystconnection.org with any questions.
