Dear Colleague

South West Forum is assisting the HotSW LEP with the development of their European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIFs) Strategy. The ESIFs Strategy sets out the LEPs priorities for the investment of around £100 million of EU funds (for the 2014-2020 period.) We are particularly focussing on the social inclusion elements of the Strategy and the LEP’s approach to engaging the voluntary sector and wider civil society. Having submitted a draft ESIFs Strategy to government on 7th October the LEP is now refining and developing the Strategy for final submission in early February 2014.

This survey is part of a consultation exercise being managed by South West Forum to inform and help shape the final Strategy. To view the draft ESIF Strategy click here

Local consultation events especially geared to civil society organisations are being held through November – to see more information click here.

The Heart of the SW LEP’s ESIFs Strategy is of crucial importance to the development of a strong and inclusive economy for the Plymouth, Torbay, Devon and Somerset areas. We want voluntary organisations to share their knowledge, expertise and experience through this survey to ensure the Strategy is robust and effective. So I do hope you will complete this survey to the best of your ability.

If you have any queries do contact me or Jane Smallcombe.
