Telehealth and Online Exercise Program Survey |
Promoting access to headspace and youth programs.
Our Study
The Department of Rural Health and University of South Australia are working collaboratively to identify the needs, and potential benefits behind online exercise programs for young people. We are asking you please complete this survey to improve our understanding of your perceptions around physical health services and its impact on your physical and mental health outcomes.
What is Telehealth?
‘Telehealth’ is the delivery of healthcare services through technological devices rather than face-to-face contact. Participation in Telehealth can be achieved using desktop, laptop, phone and tablets. The use of technology can reduce the burden(s) of travel, time, associated costs and other inconveniences that may come with accessing healthcare.
Some of the benefits that can be achieved through an Online Exercise Program include; greater fitness levels, enhanced mood, increased flexibility, improved brain and heart health, improved motivation and increased engagement in social activity. In this survey we are gathering information in an attempt to better understand how Telehealth services can help increase physical activity and exercise in young people.
