Parent/ carer needs and Priorities Survey

LightHouse Creative are offering a workshop for parents and carers who are living with children and young people who have either historically/currently self-harmed and/or felt suicidal.

We understand that completing this survey may feel difficult, especially if you are currently supporting a child or young person who is self-harming. We want to acknowledge how challenging and emotional this experience can be for parents and carers.

As therapists, parents/carers, we have noticed that there may not always be the right kind of support available for those caring for a child or teenager who is struggling in this way. Because of this, we would like to develop a workshop specifically for parents and carers.

The purpose of this survey is to help us understand your experiences, what support you feel is missing, and what would be most helpful for you. Your responses will directly shape the content of the workshop so that it is relevant, practical, and genuinely supportive.

*If you would like support or signposting, please email us. We would be very happy to hear from you.
