Mask Policy

* 1. How should the Chamber get involved in a mandatory mask ordinance?

Continue opposition based upon the idea that each business should be allowed to have its own rules and/or Manhattan shouldn’t have a policy stronger than the rest of the state.

Write a letter to support the ordinance based upon the requests of Kansas State and Fort Riley and to decrease the chances of future business restrictions.

Stay out of the discussion other than encouraging policy makers to listen to the local health officials.

Do not weigh in on the policy, only participate in making sure requirements on businesses are not unnecessarily onerous.
