We’re grateful for your participation in this informal Appeal-Democrat online survey. We’re hoping to build a list of concerns and issues local residents have concerning the possibilities of an annexation or merger.
The idea of Marysville annexing some or all of unincorporated Linda has been put on the table. Additionally, it’s been proposed that things be taken a step further and a larger area be merged into one large city – including, perhaps, all of Marysville, Olivehurst, Plumas Lake and Linda.
We want to know what supporters and opponents see as pluses and minuses and from various points of view. Additionally, we’re interested in what approval/disapproval ratings are for the ideas. Your suggestions will be used in future reporting.
This survey will be open until Sept. 23 at midnight. We plan on doing a couple additional surveys over the next several months to see if opinion is changing.

When you are finished, close the survey window and hit your backspace button, if necessary, until you are returned to the Appeal-Democrat.
