The Inspiration in Education Award recognizes a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has demonstrated uniquely significant contributions in women’s health education, in a variety of settings. These settings may include academic institutions, conferences, hospitals or clinical settings.
Research This awardee has demonstrated inspirational and innovative research in women's health. The Inspiration in Research Award recognizes a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has significantly contributed to women’s health care through research efforts and/or quality improvement projects that apply research into practice.
Policy This awardee has demonstrated inspirational and innovative contributions to policy work in women's health. The Inspiration in Policy Award recognizes a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has uniquely contributed to policy, leadership and advocacy that positively impacts the care of women and/or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners in women’s health.
Practice This awardee has demonstrated inspirational and innovative contributions to clinical practice in women's health. The Inspiration in Practice Award recognizes a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has made significant contributions to women's healthcare through clinical practice in a variety of settings such as hospital, clinic and or rural health practice.
Please note the following criteria for nominees/winners:
1) Nominee must be a member of NPWH and a certified WHNP (it is OK to be dual-certified)
2) Nominees cannot be members of the NPWH Board of Directors or have previously received this award
3) All awardees must be able to attend the 22nd Annual NPWH Premier Women's Healthcare Conference, October 16-19, 2019, in Savannah, GA
4) A copy of the nominee's CV must be sent to info@npwh.org following the completion of this form.
