We are undertaking this survey to better understand how flooding and any resulting event(s) have affected people who live in, work in, or regularly travel to Tairua. We are interested in understanding the full range of impacts experienced, including direct physical damage, disruption to daily life, financial impacts, and the longer-term effects on individuals, households, employment, health and wellbeing, and the wider community.
This survey aims to capture both the immediate and ongoing impacts of flooding. These may include impacts experienced directly at your home, workplace, or other places you regularly visit, as well as indirect impacts resulting from flooding elsewhere in the area that affected your daily life, work, access to services, or ability to travel.
For the purpose of this survey, "flooding and any resulting event(s)" refers to both the flooding itself and the direct and indirect consequences that followed. Direct impacts may include damage to homes, vehicles, personal belongings, or workplaces. Indirect impacts may include road closures, power outages, disruption to work or education, reduced access to essential services, or other effects resulting from flooding in the surrounding area.
The information you provide will be used for analysis purposes only. Your responses are anonymous, and will only be reported in aggregated form alongside those of other participants; therefore, nothing identifiable about you is reported.
