RAM Membership Diversity Survey

Dear RAM Member:

For 102 years, the Retailers Association of Massachusetts has represented our employment sector with public officials, the press and with consumers.  In order for us to effectively represent the broad range of our membership, it is more important today than ever to fully understand the make up of our 4000 members.  Please take a minute to fill out this important survey so that we can better support your business, your employees and your customers.
 
Yes, we generally know how many food, hardware, furniture, jewelry, etc. stores we have, as well as quick serve, fine and service dining, and auto service operations.  But frankly, we have little or no information about you, the owner of the small businesses.

In an effort to achieve greater equity amongst small business owners of all backgrounds, it is vital that RAM has a better understanding of the entrepreneurs, owners and employers within our membership.  Such knowledge is important for our advocacy as well as determining whether our association leadership adequately represents the diverse demographics of our membership.

We ask that you take a few minutes to fill out this Survey Monkey as we seek to collect this important membership diversity.  Recognizing that some may not want to be identified individually, you have the option to supply the ownership contact information, or to be anonymous.  Either way, RAM will have important data to better serve our members in a variety of public policy, leadership, education, services, resources, networking, and membership recruiting ways.
