What is an Affordable Housing Week event? These are just a few suggestions – we welcome others!
*Groundbreakings and grand openings of recently started, completed or rehabbed buildings. *Open houses or milestone celebrations at existing buildings. *Neighborhood or area tours by foot, van, transit or bicycle that give the wider context of how strong communities and affordable homes fit together *Panels or discussions linking housing to relevant economic or social trends or to other areas of interest such as education, public health, and employment *Actions that raise awareness about affordable housing
