Britton's Spring Semester Treats 2018: Student Survey
Spring Semester Treats for CJSF
Hi Britton Bobcats! We know state testing can be exhausting, so we again are selling treats that we know you'll love to grab after some hard work in class! These treats are not only incredibly tasty, but will also contribute to a great cause.
We are selling treats to raise funds to donate to the GoFundMe page (set by the City of Morgan Hill) for Tara Romero. Tara Romero was an amazing girl (and student of Ann Sobrato High School) who was tragically shot and killed from a drive-by shooting in 2011. It is hard to believe that due to meaningless violence, a 14-year old girl (who was as old as some of the Bobcats on campus) was lost from our community. To help bring her family justice, recollect the several lives lost by violence, and serve as a symbol of peace and hope in dark times, a bronze, life-size statue of a girl of Tara's likeness (titled "Never Forgotten") has been built to be placed outside of City Hall. However, the City Council needs our help in lowering the statue's transportation cost from Los Angeles.
To help honor this amazing girl with the city's artwork, cast your vote below for what kinds of treats you would like to see on campus. Below are a few tasty sweets, but choose only one kind of treat (and answer only one of either Question #2 or #3) as your favorite in the vote. Besides being tasty sweets, every contribution brings us one step closer to a huge donation we'll make for Tara! Thanks for your vote and hard work in class, Bobcats; we hope you see your favorite treats on campus soon!
