Effective June 21, 2022, the U.S. broadly prohibited all imports from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in China (XUAR), due to the use of forced labor there. The scope includes all goods directly produced in Xinjiang directly, and all goods produced in any country, where components and/or labor are sourced in whole or in part from the XUAR territory.
