As of December 8, 2022, the Orono Fire Department has 28 authorized positions consisting of 24 field personnel, three administrative/field personnel, and one administrator. The operating budget is $2,656,213, a 13% increase over the previous year. We predict that we will respond to 1981 calls for service this year, a 16% increase over 2021.
