Montclair Community Farms Community Survey

The Montclair Community Farms (MCF) at 108 Orange Road and 16 Miller Street Rear serve as hands-on resources that engage and educate the community and youth farmers in urban farming, sustainable agriculture, affordable food access, and healthy food and lifestyle choices.  MCF is supported by the Montclair Community Farms Coalition, a collaborative network of organizations committed to furthering the mission of the Montclair Community Farms and includes *HOMECorp, Montclair Department of Health and Human Services, Montclair History Center, Montclair State University, Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Essex County: Essex 4-H and Master Gardeners, and Montclair DIGS.

Montclair Community Farms is developing a new strategic plan in order to achieve and potentially redefine its mission and vision (1) to engage in community farming for healthy, affordable, sustainable communities and achieve the specific goal to provide underserved populations with opportunities to buy fresh locally grown produce through the youth mobile farm stand project; and (2) to ensure the sustainability (through human and financial resources) of the Montclair Community Farm sites.  This survey seeks to gain insight from the community about Montclair Community Farms.
