Interboro School District Virtual Academy 2021-2022

Dependent on the guidelines from the Pennsylvania Department of Education & Chester County Health Department, the District plans to return to normal, in-person school programming for all K-12 students for the 2021-22 school year. Recognizing that some families may want to continue to have their children learn virtually, the District will provide a Virtual Academy option.

The Interboro School District is pleased to announce that we will be offering an Interboro Virtual Academy for K-12 students in the 2021-22 school year! As we develop the ISD Virtual Academy, we want to know how to tailor our offerings to meet your needs. Please complete the following survey to tell us about your student's virtual learning needs and preferences.

I would like my student to attend virtual synchronous classes (Live classes in a virtual setting. Virtual course sections are taught to a group of students who log in to Zoom at a specified time and learn at the same time, as in a traditional course section, but without a shared physical presence. Independent practice opportunities are embedded).

I would like my student to be enrolled in virtual asynchronous classes (Flexible, independent, self-paced. Virtual course sections are self-paced and students access course section instruction, materials, and assignments at their convenience as long as work is completed by deadlines. Student progress is monitored; opportunities for scheduled appointments with staff. Check-ins may be required for students who need additional support).
