STAFF CATEGORIES
For the purposes of this survey, answer all salary questions using the below role definitions:.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF A MULTI-SITE
An experienced RECE, responsible for a multi-site organization. We recognize that duties vary according to the Board of Directors or owner and the size of the organization.

DIRECTOR/SUPERVISOR
An RECE with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field, responsible for certain administrative and staff duties. We recognize that duties vary according to the Board of Directors or owner and the size of the centre.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
An RECE with experience in the field, responsible for assisting the Director/Supervisor with administrative and staff duties.

RECE
A Registered Early Childhood Educator.

EARLY CHILDHOOD ASSISTANT
Teacher who does not have an ECE but has experience in the field and/or is working towards an ECE. Works under close supervision and guidance of RECE staff.
