Nominee for National yo-yoing Hall of Fame

The following is the selection process for the national yoyo Hall of Fame inductees for 2022.

As in the past, there Will be three inductees for the year 2022.

The executive committee will take nominations in September through December of 2022 by completing and submitting this form.

Anyone can submit a person for nomination for the national yoyo Hall of Fame by filling out and submitting this form. Only one nomination per person. The individual nominated must have been active in the sport/hobby for a minimum of 10 years. They do not have to be a member of The Academy of Yo-Yo Arts, nor do they have to be living.

The executive committee will select a total of 10 individuals for the final vote by the Academy of yoyo arts (executive committee members are not eligible for being nominated). The three individuals with the most public nominations will automatically be part of the ten finalists; the executive committee will select the other seven from the nominees' pool based on lifetime contributions to the sport/hobby submitted in the applications.

Voting by the Academy of Yo-Yo Arts members will take place in January. The executive committee will announce the inductees in February.

The Academy of Yo-Yo Arts members will have an opportunity to vote on the ten finalists. Academy members will have three votes, and the executive committee will select the three new inductees with the highest percentage of votes.
