Mastering Mentoring

AL&TC Room 2.211
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Mentoring is an important component of the teaching profession. Whether you are an official school mentor or a member of a planning team, mentoring is part of our daily profession. At this workshop, you will identify your own mentoring strengths and collaborate with colleagues to identify and refine your own mentoring style. We will examine teacher-created tools for mentors and mentees and discuss how these tools can support your mentoring opportunities. Mentoring requires good listening and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to engage in self-reflective practices. Join us as we work together to develop true peer mentoring skills.
