UTLA is presently engaged in communication with the District through a HHS recruitment and retention taskforce. Formed last year, the taskforce was established to collect ideas from UTLA members on how to improve recruitment and retention in your specific job classifications. The ideas generated through the HHS taskforce will serve as the basis for our proposals to address recruitment and retention issues at the bargaining table.
This is strictly an internal UTLA survey and all identifying information and individual responses will be kept confidential. There is no strong union without active members, and your participation is imperative.
