The Back to Basics, Forward to Prevention: NY State Infection Prevention and Control Learning Series initiative will have five subsequent monthly topic-specific webinar presentations, and complementary onsite half day sessions in each New York State region for in-person and hands-on IPC education.

The primary audience for the learning series include stakeholders within healthcare facilities whose work involves identification, prevention, containment and control of MDROs, including infection preventionist, hospital epidemiologists, directors of nursing, medical directors, administrators, environmental services supervisors, antimicrobial stewardship pharmacists, microbiology laboratorians and others.
