Recognition, Celebrations and Remembrance

The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion committee has started to develop an annual plan of dates to put a focus on for education, reflection, celebration or remembrance. This list will certainly change over time, as employees like yourself become more involved in helping to build and sustain a workplace where we feel we can recognize, honour and reflect our diversity and that our of patients and teams.

* 2. Last year we started to use the Multicultural Calendar to select some specific dates for education, celebration, reflection and remembrance. This included Black History Month, PRIDE Month, Indigenous History Month, Access Awareness Week and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
