IRC Grant Application for National Coalition Projects (Grants up to €50,000)

General guidelines for coalitions applying for funding

• Projects must clearly support the strategy/roadmap presented by the IRC national coalition and must be evidence based, scientifically robust, patient-centric, and aligned with the IRC ambition and Manifesto.
• Applications must offer clear milestones and measurable KPIs with given periods.
• The IRC will support applications up to €50,000
• Administration of the project should include timely reporting to the IRC grant assessment body.
• Only one application should be made to IRC in any one fiscal year (April 1-March 31). If an application is not funded, we recommend that the coalition apply for a seed grant to develop it further and then make another application.
• Coalitions that have already received an IRC grant are eligible to apply for a new grant, provided they have completed a final summary report and 2-min summary video. Projects will not be funded within a 2-year period from a previous funded project.
• If a coalition has received a seed funding grant and applies for a larger grant funding withing the same year, the seed funding amount will be subtracted from the total grant amount (i.e. max 48,000€).
• Grants are competitive, awarding 3-4 grants per cycle. Grants are offered two times per year with deadline in mid- April and mid-Oct.
• Projects should include a transparent budget aligned to fair market value and annual financial reports.
