Texas Exes at the Glide Foundation
Date: June 30, 2019 Time: 11:15AM-2:00PM (with social to follow from 2:00PM-3:00PM) Location: Glide Foundation, 330 Ellis St, San Francisco, CA 94102, USA Description: Join the Texas Exes for a volunteering opportunity to serve lunch to those in need at the Glide Foundation! The Glide Foundation's Daily Free Meals Program serves over 2000 meals a day to those who are homeless or near homeless, those whose lives have been impacted by the use of drugs and alcohol and/or mental illness, elders and low-income families or individuals.
Service starts at 11:30AM, but please try to get there at least 15 minutes early to meetup with other Texas Exes, fill out a sign in sheet, and secure any belongings. Volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and shirts with long or short sleeves (no tank tops), though please dress comfortably (and ideally in a UT-related shirt so you're easy to spot)!
Feel free to bring friends! There is a limit on how many people can attend, so please respond as soon as possible. We will notify you if we run out of space.
