Several changes are required for the Clubhouse (such as wheelchair access, plumbing, electrical, health and safety compliance, and new kitchen appliances). Other changes are deemed highly desirable following membership consultations over the course of 2023-4 (more space/better layout, improved changing rooms and an updated kitchen and bar). These changes have all been incorporated into the final Clubhouse development design, which has now been submitted for planning approval.
For the development, the Club needs to raise funds and, as a Members’ Club, we need to look to our membership to achieve this, through increased membership fees*, a levy* and any voluntary donations.
