The Eastern Athletics Baseball Charter is inviting registrations from Little League players who would like to participate in our Academy Program.

The age requirement for this program is that you must be born between 1 May 2004 and 30 April 2007.

This program will commence with trials on Saturday October 22 2016 and run from October 29 2016. Details of program will be made available shortly.

Players must be registered to play Little League baseball with the following clubs within the Eastern Athletics Charter: Blackburn; Ormond GH; Malvern; Melbourne; Upwey FTG & Waverley.

It will be a competition-based academy program that picks the best players from the Little League age group, in order to provide quality competition games for those players as well as an academy training program.

The structure of this program will be:

- 24 players selected within the Eastern Athletics charter
- Academy training on a Saturday morning (9:00am to 11.30am) commencing Saturday October 29 2016 (training venues tba)
- Two teams of 12 selected to play games against other charters every 3-weeks, in a tournament style day (games venues tba)

- Approximate cost of $280 per player (includes training, games and uniform consisting of a cap and top)

The academy program proved successful last summer and provides us with the opportunity to further develop our players within our sport. This program underpins both the state program and the Aces academy.
