WHAT ARE C-CAP INTERNSHIPS?

C-CAP offers a job training and internship program each summer.
After completing a 5 day job training course with C-CAP, successful students are placed in 7-week PAID internships in PROFESSIONAL KITCHENS. Interns may be placed in restaurants or corporate dining facilities in New York City. All positions are in KITCHENS.

WHO CAN DO C-CAP INTERNSHIPS?

Internships are available to any student who
1. Has taken AT LEAST ONE culinary course at a
C-CAP high school.
2. Is AT LEAST 16 years of age by July 11, 2011.
3. Is LEGALLY allowed to work in the United States.

In order to be eligible for internships, students must complete an application attend an interview AND perform satisfactorily during the training period.
