Would you like the opportunity to try out some of the experiential exercises and metaphors used in ACT? This might involve eyes-closed, guided exercises where you're asked to imagine doing different things with distressing thoughts and feelings (such as imagining putting the thoughts on a leaf and watching them float down a stream). It might involve exercises aimed at helping you to identify the things that are important and matter to you. Or it might involve exercises aimed at helping you to relate to distressing thoughts and feelings in a different, potentially more helpful way.
