Sleevehead's Sicilian Tailor Kickstarter |
Dear friends,
Thank you for purchasing Sleevehead’s Guide to Sicilian Tailors featuring some of the world's most talented, yet virtually unknown, bespoke tailors. I am in the process of bringing at least one of the featured Sicilian tailors to New York in the next 12 months (Giuseppe Arrigo and/or Vittorio Palmisciano). The idea is to broaden the reach of these tailors and spread the word on Sicilian tailoring. We are primarily targeting relatively experienced bespoke customers who will supply their own cloth to the tailor.
We are contemplating a Kickstarter campaign and would like to gauge potential demand at the different award levels. In particular, we would like to test an “early bird” offer with a significantly discounted price for individuals who are ready to pre-buy before the campaign is launched publicly (and possibly for a limited time after the launch).
We are considering the following award structure:
The tailor will make 3 visits to NYC - an initial meeting to take measurements and pick up cloth, and up to 2 more meetings in NYC before delivering the garments on the 3rd and final trip (or shipping the garment afterwards).
