Feedback on Proposed Relocation of Pedestrian Crossing

Resurfacing and lining work to Ottway Walk

The Parish Council will be undertaking work to resurface Ottway Walk in the week commencing 13th February.

We will be refreshing all lining including the 'No Parking' areas, to encourage drivers to park in allocated spaces only; our objective is to improve pedestrian safety.

As part of this work the Council is considering relocating the crossing from its current position connecting the car park to the school path which runs across the main stream of traffic flowing in and out of the car park, to a new safer location. This would be on the other side of the car park entrance and then link the path in the car park to the school path on the other side of the school driveway. As part of these works the Council would work with the school to provide a crossing over the school driveway too.
Please see the proposed location map by viewing it on the Parish Council Website www.welwyn-pc.gov.uk

We value your input in helping us make this decision. Please take a few moments to answer the following questions , your feedback will be used to guide the project to benefit both the school community and wider area.
