The TOPS Program and the Agricultural Technology Adoption Initiative (ATAI) will host Kyle Murphy, Policy Manager at MIT's Abdul Latif Jameel's Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL), to present on randomized evaluations, and hold a discussion on what makes them powerful and what lessons can be drawn from them.

ATAI is a joint research initiative of J-PAL and UC Berkeley's Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), and its mission is to develop and rigorously test programs that improve adoption and profitable use of agricultural technology by small-scale farmers in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
