Call for Speakers: Initial Results, Major Clinical Trials (2026)

On October 17, 2026, Anesthesiology will sponsor a 2-hour session titled “Initial Results: Major Clinical Trials” at the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists in San Diego, California. The purpose is to provide a platform before a large audience to present breaking results from a high-impact randomized clinical trial.

Anesthesiology is seeking speakers for this session. Preference for presentation at the Session is given to results that have not been presented anywhere outside the authors’ home institution(s). Ideally results from papers that have been accepted for publication and either in press or recently published will be given priority; however, work not yet accepted for publication will also be considered. Submissions will not be considered if results of interest cannot be presented due to embargo or other reason.

Please submit your speaker proposal using this form. The submission deadline is June 26, 2026. The Editors will evaluate all proposals and will notify all submitters of the decision by mid-July 2026.
