In 2019, for the first time, the Green Sports Alliance will be hosting a poster session exclusive to Universities, Colleges and other Academic institution's focusing on sustainability in athletics and/or recreation. The poster sessions will run throughout the Green Sports Alliance Summit with dedicated time in the conference program for presenting your findings, projects, and successes to Alliance stakeholders.

The 2019 poster session will be reflective of the Green Sports Alliance Summit theme, Playing for the Next Generation, where we’ll remember why we play, and how we’re working together to harness the immense cultural influence of sports to make positive change for greener fields and stadiums, and healthier cities and communities, locally and globally.

Poster case-study applicants will be assessed on how well they embody this theme of achieving outcomes, with special consideration on the following areas:

- Clearly defined project & sustainability objectives
- Environmental impact vis-a-vis achieving determined objectives
- Problem solving and informed environmental stewardship
- Engagement with stakeholders and local communities

The format and design of the presentation is largely up to the applicant, the final poster must be 4’ x 4’ or smaller and printing guidelines will be provided to those selected. Presenters are responsible for creating, printing, transporting, displaying, and taking down posters.
