Background Information
Nominate an NSPA member for the 2016 Scholarship Provider of the Year Award! This prestigious award recognizes scholarship providers who demonstrate exceptional leadership, efficiency, and impact in their support of higher education. Two outstanding scholarship providers are selected each year for this honor in the following two categories:
● College and University Providers – scholarship organizations within a post-secondary educational institution providing scholarships for study at the institution.
● Independent Scholarship Providers – scholarship organizations run by a private or public foundation, unaffiliated with a specific college or university.
Each award recipient will receive a $2,500 cash prize sponsored by Fastweb, the nation's recognized leader in helping students pay for school and a top site in the Monster Worldwide Network. NSPA and Fastweb have collaborated on this award for 16 years.

Nominations must be submitted by July 29, 2016. We encourage NSPA members to recognize the achievements of their colleagues by nominating other member organizations. If you'd like to nominate an organization, please complete the nomination form on the next page. If you'd like to apply as an Independent Scholarship Provider or as a College or University Provider, please follow the link to a different form.
The winners will be announced at the NSPA 2016 Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO, on Monday, October 10th at the Welcome Reception. Applicants/nominees do not need to be present to win.
ELIGIBILITY
● Organizations must be current members of the National Scholarship Providers Association and in good standing.
● Previous winners and current NSPA Board Members are not eligible.
WINNING ORGANIZATIONS RECEIVE
● $2,500 cash prize donated by Fastweb to the general scholarship fund of the winning organization
● Recognition at the 2016 NSPA Annual Conference
● Recognition on the conference schedule and program
● Recognition on the NSPA website
● A plaque for display
● An electronic badge to use in communication materials
● An invitation to present a session at the 2017 NSPA Annual Conference
● Opportunity to select future SPOY winners
