Join our dynamic team at Life Matters Psychologists
We are looking for Expressions of Interest to staff a wide range of mental health services funded by the Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network. We are tendering to provide these services in a number of regions including Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cessnock, Maitland, Dungog, Muswellbrook, Singleton, the Upper Hunter, Gloucester, Taree and Forster. The roles include Psychologists (Provisional, Registered, Clinical or other endorsement), Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers and other Allied Health professionals. If Life Matters Psychologists is successful in obtaining any or all of this funding there may be opportunities available in these regions to provide:
1. Psychological counselling to adults, children, individuals at risk of suicide and self-harm, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Individuals, individuals residing in Residential Aged Care Facilities and individuals living in rural and remote regions.
2. Guided Low-Intensity Mental Health Services using a newly developed NewAccess program designed by Beyond Blue Australia to individuals with mild-moderate mental illness
3. Clinical Care Co-ordination to clients with severe mental illness.
Psychologists (provisional, registered or clinical), Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses and other Mental Health Workers are strongly encouraged to express their interest.
