* 3. Under a product stewardship scheme consumers will be able to hand in a dead battery for at no cost. To encourage more people to hand in batteries we could offer a refund or 'bounty' for bringing a battery (in the car) back to an accredited recycler. What do you think would work best (bear in mind a bounty might mean the car costs more new)?
