North Down Community Network brings together community, voluntary and statutory organisations working to improve life across North Down.
As a member, your organisation becomes part of a supportive network that shares information, builds connections, promotes collaboration and helps groups access opportunities, advice and support. Our support is guided by member needs, available resources and organisational capacity, with priority given to services outlined within our membership offer.
Who Can Apply?
Membership is open to voluntary, community, statutory and non-profit organisations working within the North Down area for public benefit rather than private profit, and who support the aims and values of NDCN.
By becoming a member, your organisation will join a supportive network focused on collaboration, sharing information, strengthening communities and helping groups access opportunities, advice and support.
Membership Costs
Volunteer-led groups: £25 per year
Organisations with paid staff: £50 per year
Statutory/private organisations: £100 per year

As an NDCN member, your organisation may benefit from:
Information & Advice - Funding updates and grant information, Guidance on governance and good practice, Signposting to relevant services and opportunities, Support with planning and community needs assessment
Networking & Representation - Opportunities to connect and collaborate with other organisations, Member consultation and feedback opportunities, Representation of community issues and shared priorities
Promotion & Communication - Promotion through NDCN social media and ezine, Opportunities to feature in publications and campaigns
Access to design and promotional support where available
Training & Development - signposting to training opportunities for staff and volunteers, Workshops and information sessions throughout the year
Additional Support - Access NI processing, Examination of accounts support for eligible groups and Community development guidance and support
Our Commitment to Members
We are committed to supporting all members; however, due to capacity and resources, priority support may be given to organisations with the greatest identified need and least organisational capacity.
