The initial CAC Evaluation Framework v1.0 was developed by an external evaluator and Health Issues Centre in collaboration with five health services in 2021/22. This financial year, SCV is funding HIC to pilot and review the Framework. The program will be evaluated by an external evaluator who will also produce the CAC Evaluation Framework v2.0 based on the review process and health services and consumers’ feedback.

The program will offer participating health services:
  • Two [2hrs] online training sessions for staff
  • One [1.5hrs] online coaching session for consumers engaged in the program
  • Two [1.5hrs] coaching sessions for staff
  • Ongoing support over the duration of the pilot and review program
  • Support material and resources to undertake the pilot and review of the Framework
Participating health services will need to commit to:
  • Allocating staff time to work with HIC to implement the program
  • Attending the training and coaching sessions
  • Inviting and supporting CAC members (up to two consumers) to be part of the pilot and review
  • Piloting the Framework
  • Providing feedback by filling in the useability survey and using other provided resources
  • Participating in the evaluation of the program
Consumers will receive a one of payment from Health Issues Centre for their participation in the program.

This EoI will be open until COB Friday 2 September 2022 and applicants will be notified of the results by Wednesday 7 September 2022.
