ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
-Graduate of two-year approved Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized Community college (or equivalent).
-High comprehension of Medical terminology required
-Computer/Technical skills: Demonstrated keyboarding and Switchboard panel proficiency and demonstrated knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet functions.
-Must be able to work day, afternoon and night shifts with minimal call-in notice
-Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
-Demonstrated knowledge Cerner a definite asset.
-Prior medical office experience a definite asset.
-Demonstrated professional telephone skills.
-Satisfactory attendance.
