Background

The HQIP 'Directory' is a guidance document that collates high level information supplied by the teams that manage national audit and quality improvement programmes. It is a tool/resource designed to assist healthcare service providers in planning and reporting on their audit activity each year. It is refreshed regularly and includes:
  • NCAPOP projects (commissioned by HQIP)
  • Projects included in the NHS England Quality Accounts List (and operated by other organisations)
  • Other national quality improvement projects operated by other organisations.
Please note that The Directory is a publicly available Excel workbook and the information you provide in this survey will be included in the next version release scheduled to take place ahead of the 2024-25 financial year. This next version will include information on national programmes collecting data in 2023-24, along with those that plan to collect data in 2024-25. Please see detailed instructions below for more information.

Note that NCAPOP audit programmes do not need to complete this survey. If you are in NCAPOP and are not an audit please do complete this survey.

SURVEY INSTRUCTIONS

A separate survey should be completed for each work stream or topic, if it is:
  • Collecting national data during the financial years (1 April to 31 March) 2023-24 and/or 2024-25;
  • Publishing a national report during calendar years (1 January to 31 December) 2023, 2024 and/or 2025.
