Evergreen is seeking examples of initiatives that will enhance sector capacity to plan, design, build, operate and renew high-performing affordable housing projects. Successful applicants will be granted up to three tiered opportunities to participate: a mention or spotlight in the Innovative Housing Solutions e-Booklet, the Scaling Innovative Housing Solutions Workshop, and the Innovative Housing Solutions Showcase as part of Future Cities Canada: #UnexpectedSolutions. These opportunities provide platforms to build connections with investors, cross-sectional industry experts, policy-makers and mentors. See the program page on the Future Cities Canada: Community Solutions Portal for more details.

This showcasing opportunity is funded by National Housing Strategy (NHS) Demonstration Initiative. The NHS is a 10-year, $55B plan that will give more Canadians a place to call home. The NHS Demonstrations Initiative, one of the programs under the National Housing Strategy, highlights innovations in affordable housing that aim to progress social, economic and environmental performance, programs and strategies.
