The Town of Smithtown Youth Bureau is a Municipal Department dedicated to promoting the well-being of
youth and families throughout the Township.
Some of our most popular programs include:
Leadership & Community Service, Emotional Management (Anger & Stress Management, Dimensions of Wellness), Basic Employment & Babysitting Skills, Student Study & Organizational Skills/Time Management,
Parenting Skills, Opportunities for Healthy Family Interaction/Communication, Youth & Community Alliance -Community Projects).
Many of the youth development, prevention and intervention programs are research-based such as: Why Try, Teen Intervene, Too Good For Drugs, Anger Management, The Body Project, Safe Dates, Children In Change, Life Skills, Eight Dimensions of Wellness, etc.
