Re-gather for Worship Survey
The OCC staff and Leadership Team are very excited to gather again at our worship services when it's safe to do so. We have a team in place that is working through the various local, provincial and federal guidelines as it pertains to how worship services can be conducted during this time. We recognize these guidelines are changing on a regular basis.
Based on the current recommendations, the following is a list of guidelines that we would put in place in order for us to re-gather.
We will limit our gathering to 30% of our seating capacity.
Family units may sit together but must remain 6ft apart from everyone else.
There is no separate children's ministry program. All children must remain with their parents. You will be limited to the auditorium and hallway.
Everyone will have to wear a face mask for the entire worship service.
There will be no congregational singing. There will be various elements in place to help us worship (e.g. worship videos, humming is allowed, responsive reading, worship postures).
Services will be 45 to 50 minutes in length.
There will be no refreshments available before or after the service.
Everyone will be directed and dismissed immediately following the worship service. You are welcome to connect with others outside in the parking lot while practicing safe physical distancing.
