This is a survey for headteachers of secondary schools in England about career guidance in schools. The responsibility to deliver career guidance has shifted from local authorities to schools. We are interested in learning about how this has been managed in your school.
The University of Derby, on behalf of Unison, are seeking information about how this change in responsibility has impacted the quality, type and access to careers provision for young people.
This survey is voluntary but your input would be greatly appreciated and should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
Your answers are confidential and no uniquely identifying information about you or your school will be collected and as such once you begin the survey we are unable to remove your answers from the research. It is hoped that the findings of the research will be used to inform future policy changes and raise the status of careers professionals.
