As the 2025 wildfire season comes to a start in Alberta, the Forestry Division is beginning an initiative to support the mental health needs of both our full-time staff, and seasonal employees. This initiative will include psychological supports on-site for type 1 events, with additional supports of other incidents and events, as well as a project to enhance mental health supports beyond our active wildfire season.
